Every contractor managed in BondBuilder submits current financial statements to their advisor. Those statements feed into the benchmarking dataset, aggregated, anonymized, and grouped into trade and revenue cohorts.
Your cohort is other contractors in the platform whose primary trade matches yours and whose revenue sits in your band. General contractors compare against other general contractors, specialty trades against their specialty peers. The minimum cohort size is five. Below that threshold, the cohort doesn't render. No contractor sees another contractor's identity, company, or specific numbers.
